Shannon and Brandon's wedding was one of the most fun weddings I've had the honor of shooting so far. First of all, these two have a really unique love story that pretty much everyone loved to reference in their toasts / congratulations throughout the night that made their union really fun to see through - these two are the ORIGINAL online couple. Remember the AOL chat rooms and the a/s/l queries that led to chat buddies? Yeah, that was the original version of match.com but without the filter for the...questionable matches....and somehow these two were able to find each other! The story goes that they had a long distance friendship that petered out when they were in high school. Where AOL failed, facebook stepped in and saved the day - these two reconnected through fb and eventually fell in love. Shannon, then in Arizona, moved to TN to be with Brandon and well, the story is obviously still going because they decided to tie the knot. Below you'll see some of the details from the wedding - Shannon literally planned this wedding down to the tiniest detail and it turned out perfect! It was held out at Cedars of Lebanon state park on a beautiful fall day. Shannon, Brandon, the wedding party and other helpers made everything from the center pieces to the bouquets to the garter - a real DIY wedding. Enjoy!
