Happy 4th!

The Fourth of July is one of the BEST HOLIDAYS EVER. Yesterday Javier and I headed out to East Nashville for the Hot Chicken Festival - we didn't actually eat any chicken (I know...whaaaat?) because Javier isn't a huge fan of spicy food and I didn't want to wait in the crazy lines - BUT we had some fun snapping photos of everyone in their 4th of July gear enjoying some delicious food! Afterwards we headed over to my parents house and had the ultimate summer grill out. My dad set up his PA under the gazebo by the pool and he jammed out with my cousin Andrew and a bunch of my friends all. day. long. A group of my friends from college who moved away after we graduated were in town for a wedding so we had a fantastic crew out at the house grilling food, lounging by the pool, playing beer pole (a frisbee / beer game - also known as beer frisbee), attempting to walk the slack line and playing music. It was the PERFECT 4th of July.
